Recently, Caroline Gist, Executive Director of Putnam City
Public Schools Foundation, received her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive)
certification. In order to obtain this
certification, Caroline had to have worked a minimum of five years in a position
where most of her time was dedicated to philanthropic fundraising. She also had
to provide a record of her experience, education, proven fundraising
performance, commitment to continuing professional education and community
service as part of the application process.
Caroline passed the CFRE examination and is clearly identified as
someone who has demonstrated mastery of fundraising principles and techniques. This process shows Caroline’s willingness to
“keep up” with the constant changing environment of the fundraising profession
and that she maintains proficiency and knowledge of her field.
Congratulations to Caroline Gist for obtaining the
very impressive status of CFRE!
